MS Arcadia is a cruise ship in the P&O Cruises fleet. The ship was built by Fincantieri at their shipyard in Marghera, Italy. At over 84,000 gross tonnage, Arcadia is the fourth largest of seven ships currently in service with P&O Cruises
Several cruise ships and ocean liners were with us in Lyme Bay during the pandemic in 2020/21 when they sheltered in the bay unable to sail the seas with passengers. These outstanding photographs taken by David Caunter conjure up many emotions, the ships looked majestic and were wonderful to look at; however, there was a sadness that they could not cruise around the world at this time.
