RMS Queen Mary 2 is a British transatlantic ocean liner. She has served as the flagship of Cunard Line since succeeding Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2004. As of 2017, Queen Mary 2 is the only purpose built passenger ship designed as an ocean liner, as opposed to a cruise ship
Teign C is a 14m modern Damen Stan Tug / dredge bed leveller based in the port of Teignmouth. Her main functions are towing, mooring, pushing and dredging operations. Teign C supports vessels with limited manoeuvrability and operates throughout the week as a plough dredger, maintaining the shipping channel to Teignmouth port
These cruise ships in Lyme Bay have been with us during the pandemic in 2020 and are still with us as the pandemic continues into 2021. These outstanding photographs taken by David Caunter conjure up many emotions, the ships look majestic and are wonderful to look at; however, there is a sadness that they cannot cruise around the world at this time.
