Often referred to as the most adorable animal seen in zoos, the red panda is mainly found in forests in the Eastern Himalayas and south-west China.

The main threat to this cute bushy-tailed red bear-cat is the loss of habitat.

Bamboo is not only a dwelling but also the main source of food for the red panda. They are often hunted for their fur in order to produce hats as their fur is a very good protection against cold conditions.
