Albesia wood is a softwood and it can take only 5 years before a new tree begins to be harvested compared to hard wood tree in the UK, which can take up to 150 years.  This means it is an eco friendly gift which has no plastic, hand carved ethically and made from sustainable wood.

KINGFISHER FACTS:  Kingfishers are widespread, especially in central and southern England, becoming less common further north but following some declines last century, they are currently increasing in their range in Scotland. They are found by still or slow flowing water such as lakes, canals and rivers in lowland areas.
